Online Learning day 6
Unfortunately, the lockdown has been extended so I will be doing this for at least 1 more week.
For literacy, my task was to watch some videos about the landing at the ANZAC war. Then see if I can write down similes our describing words for each sense.
For math today, I picked a and mark, then I got he dimension for that landmark in my case I choose MT Fuji. So I found the dimension for MT fuji, this is because I am going to apply a scaling factor to the dimensions so I can put it on a Tinkercad.
Do you know anything about ANZAC?

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post

Kia ora Lucas,
ReplyDeleteI see from your first sentence that you are disappointed lockdown is going on for a few more days. Are you not enjoying learning from home? I know that it can be a bit strange and hard at times.
I really enjoyed reading your list of 5 senses for Anzac. Your similes were interesting and grasped the ideas that people might have experienced. I particularly liked the one you created about the sound being like hail on a tin roof. It made me connect that sound to the sound that soldiers may have experienced.
Thanks for sharing your work,
:) Sharon - Te Ara Tūhura Education Programme Leader
