Over Fishing

Today in lockdown our task was to create a poster about overfishing. We had to include what to do when fishing and how to buy sustainable fish and seafood. I had fun creating my poster, I made my poster on canva. I made mine blue because that's the colour of the ocean.

Aldin

 Hey Bloggers 

For the past 12 weeks, we have been practising and rehearsing a school play. This school play was Aldin, we worked very hard on it. I was backstage, these were the people who bring the props on and off. There usually were black so no one can see you. I had so much fun doing this play. Here are some photos of the production.

Matariki Ink Printing

 Kia Ora Bloggers,

As you may have known but Matariki has come. Matariki is a constellation of seven stars that appear one time a year. In the Maori culture, the seven stars represents the New Year and depending on how bright the shine is how good the crops are supposed to grow.  For our task, we created a piece of art, this piece of art was an ink printing of the Matariki. To make this piece of art we had to draw the Matariki and some mountains on a piece of foam. Then you ink the foam with a roller and paste onto paper. Here is my final result. 

Egg drop

 Hey Bloggers, 

Today we did an egg drop, as a team of 5. We were focusing on the teamwork and the process, and of course the result. Our egg was called Gary The Great and sadly passed away on the 19th of May 2021. Sorry for the lack of photos there have been some technical difficulties. We dropped the egg from Approximately 3 meters. Have you done the Egg drop challenge before?      

Exiting Elephant Enclosure

 Hey, bloggers 
Today I made an elephant enclosure on tinkercad. My enclosure includes a pool with some rocks, also some trees. I also added some shelter for my elephant and an eating place. This was so fun hope you like it.

This is a scratch that I made about Maori weather. How I made this, I made this using scratch. Scratch is a coding app that you can code stuff on. My task was to create something on scratch that could say the Maori weather. Here is my scratch. Did you learn Maori weather saying?  

Safety Of Others

 Hey Bloggers, 

For the past few weeks, we have been learning about how to keep safe in our homes our with others. Today we learned about the emotional safety of others, the reason behind this is that emotional safety is just as important as physical safety. The task today was to look at a comic of someone being excluded, and then pretend you were that person. What would you change?
